Nasi Goreng is probably the most famous dish from Indonesian cuisine. Nasi Goreng, which literally means fried rice, was originally created by searing the remaining vegetables with rice from the day before and usually serving them for breakfast. Even if our recipe shows you preparation with chicken, you can also replace it with fish or pork or, for a vegetarian variant, omit the meat entirely.

With the fresh vegetables and the addition of the spicy sauce, you get another highlight of Indonesian cuisine with Nasi Goreng, which should be on the menu every time you travel to Indonesia.
